The Boro Inn. Established 1877

I.N. Brendan O’Dubhghaill meaning (Prince, dark haired foreigner). The Doyle name is  one of the first ten oldest family names in Ireland. My family has lived in the same part of Ireland since the 1200’s as farmers and merchants to this present day serving the community of people socially, and business interests.

For five generations our family pub continues to serve people from all over the world from a small village in Clonroche Co. Wexford Ireland. Its name comes from the Boro River which flows from the foothills of the Black Stair Mountains fifteen miles through Castle Boro Estate to the Slaney Waters. Once a beautiful dwelling which was burned down in 1923  during the time of civil strife as Ireland again strived to establish its freedom.

Today my family is honored to serve you here in Blue Ridge, with a beautiful variety of Ales, Ciders, Lagers, Stouts, International Gastro Beers, Spirits & Wines, soft drinks, Irish foods, a song, a sonnet or a poem, a story of histories past and present. From generation to generation nobody has ever been a stranger through our doors.  The only thing we possess, is the will to love and serve you in the here and now.

The pub is a story of family life, with centuries of Irish History interwoven like a tapestry into our heart, of who we are.
